About us

OneDay Social Volunteering encourages young aduts to volunteer in communal activities tailor to their worldview and way of life. We are proud to be the home to the “new volunteerism” model in Israel and believe that through joint volunteer activities, we can strengthen the connection between different part of society in Israel.

Fun activities for special populations

As part of our activities for special populations such as the elderly, children and youth at-risk, people with special needs and more, we devote one day of activity for them. Our volunteers will make sure they enjoy their time and fill their hours with good energy, a happy atmosphere, and plenty of activities that will put a smile on their face and spice up their traditional routine. We can arrange engaging activities such as chocolate workshops, theater workshops, social games, a picnic, a climbing wall, bowling, sports, and more.

Environmental, Nature, and Animal Activities

Many of our activities are devoted to the environment, nature, and animals. As part of our many activities, we clean up beaches, help set up community gardens, assist with dog and cat adoption days, assist in a farm activity and more..

Fun and more fun

Our volunteers come to our events not only for the purpose of giving, but to also enjoy every minute of it! And believe us, it is contagious. In no time, everyone will feel the change in the air.

The production is on us!

We will take care of the full production of the volunteer day, from the planning stages, the logistics and equipment, to the actual operation and content on the day of the activity.

Makeovers, placemaking and renovations

We may look nice, but our team will get their hands dirty as needed 😊. As part of our activities, volunteers will arrive one day to roll up their sleeves and help in community service:

Renovations

We will be happy to help renovate an elderly or disadvantaged family’s apartment, renovate a center or community building to make it a warm, bright, and inviting place.

Establish educational courtyards

We will help schools and educational institutions establish welcoming spaces with an abundance or fun, challenging, and colorful floor games that will spark the imagination and creativity of children.

Create Community Gardens

As part of this activity, we will assist the establishment of a community garden. We will take care of weeding the proposed area, creating garden beds and planting vegetation to turn neglected areas into beautiful, well-kept gardens.
